Join Seattle-based sexuality educator Claire Appelmans in The Early Years, a self-paced course providing expert guidance on how to engage young children in age-specific conversations about bodies, boundaries, and sexuality.
Build your confidence, foster open communication, and lay the foundation for your child’s lifelong social-emotional development.
The first module of this course was released in March 2025, and subsequent modules will be released monthly.
This course is WCAG compliant and is designed to support families with 0-7 year olds.

About the instructor
Claire Appelmans is a Seattle-based sexuality educator who teaches in-person sex ed classes to kids ages K-12 and online classes to parents and caregivers. Claire enjoys creating spaces where kids can practice talking and asking questions about bodies, sexuality, and life online. She also enjoys supporting families in starting these conversations with their children at home. Claire began teaching sexuality education in 2011 at a teen clinic. She received her sexuality education certificate in 2022 from the Antioch University of Seattle and started her business Living Earth Sex Ed in 2023.
